Giedružė
In 2002 20 performers created a music group (ensemble) “GIEDRUŽĖ” (head of the group Audronė Buržinskienė). The repertoire of the group includes songs, dances, instrumental music of Lithuania Minor; the folklore company also performs contemporary interpretations of authentic songs of Liudvikas Rėza. The group arranges the annual international folklore festival “Tek saulužė ant maračių” in Neringa. The group made a program based upon the theme of ethnocultural history of the Curonian Spit “Kuršių kiemas” (The Curonian Courtyard) (2003, 2004). Participated in the international folklore festival “Parbėg laivelis” (2004 in Klaipėda), and in the international tourism exhibitions: „C M T‘ 04“ (Stuttgart, Germany, 2004), “VIVATTUR‘04” (Vilnius, Lithuania, 2003; 2004, 2005). The group takes part in various town and national level events, and arranges traditional calendar festivals program.

Joldija
The country music choir “JOLDIJA” received its name in 1998. Choir music traditions in Nida go back to several decades, 15 choir musicians and singers perform Lithuanian folk songs and works of composers. Laurynas Vainutis has been the leader of the choir “Joldija” since 2002. The renewed team takes active participation in all the town festivals. The choir toured Germany (1993, 1997), participated at the Lithuanian World Song Festival (1998), as well as at international tourism exhibitions and fairs such as “C M T‘04” (Stuttgart, Germany, 2004), “VIVATTUR‘04” (Vilnius, Lithuania, 2004, 2005). In 2005 it took part at the choir festival “Grok Jurgeli” in Kretinga.
Kalnapušė
Senior Citizen Folk Dance Company was founded in 2002. Leader of the group is Rasa Norvilienė.
The company has 9 dancing pairs. The unique feature of the company is in the fact that the dancing pairs are husbands and wives.
“Kalnapušė” actively participates at the town festivals, in the projects made by the Lithuanian televisions and national events. The company participates at the annual international folklore festival “Tek saulužė ant maračių”, at the 2003 Lithuanian World Song Festival. It took part in the 12th Lithuanian World Dance Festival in Chicago (2004, USA), Lithuanians Days in Germany (2004).
“Kalnapušė” staged programs characteristic and specific for Lithuania Minor “Kuršių kiemas” (The Curonian Courtyard) (2003), “Kartu su žvejo šeima” (Together with a Fisherman’s Family)“ (2003.).
In 2005 the folk dance company “Kalnapušė” participated in the contest “Pora už poros” where they were awarded contest laureates, while the leader of the company Rasa Norvilienė was acknowledged the most creative leader.
Women choir “Smiltatė”
Dalia Stančiukienė has been the director of the choir “Smiltatė” since 1990. 22 ladies sing the choir. The choir actively participates at the town festivals, promotes harmonized Lithuanian folk songs, foreign classical and contemporary music. The choir’s repertoire distinction is church hymns.
The choir sings during mass and festive services at the parochial church. The choir participated at the Lithuanian World Song festivals (1990, 1994, 1998 and 2003). Toured Germany (1992, 1993, 1997) and in 1999 Italy (Rome). The choir sang at the anniversary commemoration event of the Lithuanian community at the church (2000 in Kaliningrad). The choir also visited Spain (2003) and participated at the song festival “Tėvynės balsai” 2004 in Kaunas).
Children Junior Choir “Saulės giesmė”
Children and youth choir “SAULĖS GIESMĖ” started its creative activity in 1989. The leader of the choir is Regina Kondraškina.
The repertoire includes church music, classical and contemporary pop music pieces. The choir gave concerts at Vilnius Archicathedral Basilica, cathedrals of Telšiai and Marijampolė, churches of Kretinga, Palanga, Birštonas and Vilnius.
The collective took part in the shows made by the Lithuanian Radio and Television: “Nidos pavasaris” (Nida Spring) (1999), “Kalėdų rytas Nidoje” (Christmas Morning in Nida) (1999), “Nuo koplytėlės iki Bazilikos” (From a Chapel to Basilica) (1992). The choir was filmed in the movie “Tylos zona” (Silence Zone), recorded there audiocassettes. The choir toured with concert programs France (1991), Italy (1993), Germany (1991, 1993, 1995), Vatican (1993), Spain (1995), and Poland (1993, 1994). It gave a concert at the Theatre Hall of Hermitage in Saint Petersburg (1997). The choir participated at the Lithuanian World Song festivals (1997, 1998, 2002, 2003), the National Schoolchildren Song Festival in Vilnius (2005), the Lithuanian Song Festival “Tėvynės balsai” in Kaunas in 2004.
At the present two groups of children and youth constitute the choir “Saulės giesmė”. The choir actively participates at the town festivals, events and presentations.


Vocal instrumental band
The vocal instrumental band was established in 1996, since 2002 its leader has been Laurynas Vainutis. The band has 10 singers among whom three soloists – R. Kondraškina, E. Radzevičienė, N. Lendraitis. The band actively participates at the town festivals, events, shows and presentations. The band went on concert tours to Birštonas (1997, 1999), Anykščiai (1998), Panevėžys (1999), Germany (2000) and elsewhere.
The band’s repertoire includes pop classics and variety music.
Humour Group “Blūduras”
“BLŪDURAS” is a humour group of “serious unserious” which started on 1 April 1998. The group each year arranges new programs dedicated to the First of April, the day of joke and liars: “Čiulba ulba ungurėlis” (the birds team), 1998, “O Neringoj Amerika” 1999, “Dzūko vestuvės I” 2000, “Dzūko vestuvės II” 2001, “Penkiasdešimt gramų ir vėl Amerikoj” 2002, “Kelelis tolimas…” 2003, “Linksmakočiai iš Rojaus kampelio” ir “Blūduras” stoja į Europos sąjungą“ 2004. The group takes active participation in traditional Shrovetide, putting on and off the Christmas lights, Three Kings and other festivals. The leaders of the group are Aušra Feser, Janina Žvaginienė, Antanas Katėnas, Vytautas Glicas, and others.
