IN THE NATIONAL PARK IT IS PROHIBITED
Driving away from the paving asphalt, concrete, macadam or ground (hard road coverings), to park motor vehicles at the places not intended for that.
Putting up tents.
Building a fire in places not intended and equipped for that.
Damaging vegetation (rare plants, the forest floor, bushes, trees).
Walking, going down from the dunes, climbing them or damaging them in any other way in Grobsto (Gliders’ Dune) and Nagliu (Grey Dunes) natural reservations and in Parnidis Landscape Reserve (Dune of Parnidis).
Damaging seashore protective dune crest fortification.
Polluting environment , damage road, informative and other signs and devices, throwing down cigarette ends and matches and other inflammable and environment polluting materials.
Making noise, scaring off birds in the process of their breeding and migration, destroying nests.
Pasturing cattle in the forests.
Keeping motor and oared water vehicles at the sea and Lagoon shores in places not intended for that.
Walking dogs without dog-leads and muzzles.
Walking dogs at the Smiltyne recreational zone of the Park.
Attendance discipline at the National Park is controlled by the officers of state protected territories and state forests officers of the Republic of Lithuania.
Individuals, who have violated the provisions of these rules, are to pay the penalty in accordance with the order established by the Law of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts.
RIGHTS OF THE NATIONAL PARK VISITORS
It is allowed to attend Nagliu and Grobsto natural reservations only by marked pedestrian and bicycle paths specially designed for that. Only individuals who have obtained the allowance of the Management of the National Park according to the order established or those doing their duties – inspectors, officers of the territories under protection, employees of the Management of the National Park are allowed to attend the entire reservations’ territory.
To have picnics at the valid and equipped short-term rest sites that have places for building fire. For building a fire, one may use dry branches (or dry firewood) collected in the forest. The fee for making use of these sites is collected and information is provided by the forests divisions of the National Park:

To keep motor and oared water vehicles at the National Park only in the territories specially designed for that and coordinated with the Management of the National Park.
To organize backpacking tours and trips, mass events, sports competitions (except yachting and rowing as well as the events organized by Neringa Town and Klaipeda City Municipalities in the settlements of the Curonian Spit) having written allowances of the Management of the National Park and Municipalities. Applications for event organization shall be presented no later than 5 days prior to organization of an event. Having agreed on that beforehand, one can pick up allowances at the Management of the National Park as well as at Municipalities or ask to fax or mail them.
