In Smiltyne and Nida, the yacht-clubs are established. They kindly meet yachtsmen from different countries. It does not create any trouble for foreign yachtsmen to sail into Smiltyne and Nida – having entered Klaipeda Channel, it is necessary to go through the passport and customs control. There are clear directions in the Klaipeda Channel indicating where to find these offices.
Smiltyne Yacht-Club established on the territory of the Curonian Spit accepts yachts of various sizes. It has WC, shower-cabins, café, one can supply his or her reserves of fresh water. The Yacht-Club has its own hotel. The fee is charged for stay of yachts, which varies depending on a season.
Nida Yacht-Club is waiting for guests
Nida Yacht-Club kindly meets its guests as well. It has WC and shower-cabins. Travelers have an opportunity to have a meal in Nida cafés, to stay in its hotels. The pass from Smiltyne to Nida is marked by conventional marks.
You can rent yachts with a crew in yacht-clubs of Smiltyne and Nida. Entertainment excursions along the Curonian Spit are organized.
Every season yachtsmen can participate in regattas organized by the yacht-clubs. These events attract participants and audience not just from Lithuania, but from abroad as well.
