In 1995, in Juodkrante, the construction works on 2400 m long quay along. Rezos street were started. Handling the quay gave the birth to the idea of organizing here exposition of sculptures called “Land and Water”. The exposition was being created in 1997 – 1999 during international sculptures symposium “Land and Water”. It consists of 31 sculptures which were created by artists from Lithuania, Great Britain, Sweden and other countries. The sculptures are positioned on the 800 m section.
