From the Dune of Parnidis 52 meters tall the picturesque view of the Curonian Spit and the Baltic Sea appears. In 1995, the solar clock – calendar 13.8 m tall was constructed on that dune. In 1995, during hurricane the part of the obelisk got splintered off.
