
This coming weekend, Neringa will be filled with German traditions – from the festive Oktoberfest spirit to authentic flavors and music.
October 10–12, the town will come alive with German songs, the aroma of traditional dishes, a culinary and folk art fair, creative and educational activities for the whole family.
Friday, October 10
18:00 – Screening of the German director Caroline Link’s film “All About Me”.
19:30 – The festive mood in the square near Neringa Municipality will be ignited by the band Joldija and the charismatic hosts Heidi and Alois.
Saturday, October 11
10:30 – Guided tour “The Curonian Spit – Homeland of Three Cultures” in Lithuanian and German.
18:00 – Grand celebration in the square: Bavarian music band “Allegretto.Band” and the energetic “Baltic Balkan” performance. Concerts are free of charge!
Sunday, October 12
10:00 – Educational workshop and sand exhibition “Catch Your Dream Amber” with Audrius Lukauskas.
12:00 – Fun German language session for families “Backe backe Kuchen!” with educator Eglė Norkutė.
Throughout the weekend:
German dishes in Neringa’s cafés and restaurants.
Culinary and folk art fair in the square next to Neringa Municipality.
