Location: the southern part of Nida

Visitors to the Curonian Spit National Park can now walk along the new 1.1 km long Parnidis Dune educational trail and reach the famous dune by much more convenient stairs. They lead up the slope of the dune to the observation deck, and from the wooden path even from the four observation points, excellent panoramas of the landscape open up.

The trail starts from the Neringa Sports School and ends at the Sundial. There are 22 benches of various shapes, an interactive artistic accent "Fill the dune", boundary markers of the Parnidis Nature Reserve and six information stands with the information about the history of the landscape. Park visitors with wheelchairs (both children and disabled) can move along the path from its beginning to the stairs. Unfortunately, there is no special adaptation for wheelchairs yet.

Bicycle traffic is restricted along the entire trail. Currently, there is one bicycle locking station, but more should be added in the future. The Parnidis Landscape Reserve is characterized by an aesthetically valuable landscape, where the northern part is covered with mountain pines, and the southern part is covered with sand.
